Virtual Canva Anyone? Students in Ghana learn from AIKI

Updated: Oct 9, 2020

In August, AIKI provided a virtual workshop to Ashesi University students in Ghana that taught them how to use Canva, a graphic design platform.

Ashesi University is located in Berekuso a town right outside of Accra, the capital city of Ghana. This university specializes in teaching undergraduate students about entrepreneurship. AIKI worked with a professor from the university to provide a workshop on Canva, a platform for graphic design projects.

Students from Ashesi learned how to use Canva as a way to build their graphic design skills and as a possible tool to present their capstone business pitches. Students enjoyed the workshop and some of them even used it in for their pitches.

In addition, AIKI served as a judge for the business pitch competition, which was all virtual.
